Repeats in Alexandria
Can I say how much I love running in DC and VA. Yesterday, I ran from Old Towne Alexandria, along the river up along the airport. With a couple small inclines and declines, it makes the 1 mile repeats (3 done w/0.5 mi jogs and 11 min warm up and warm down) very trying. By the end, my legs were so tight that I had to keep running because they would try to cramp if I walked then jogged again. Oh the wonderfulness of it all. haha.
Trail run of 18 miles in upstate NY if I can find a good location.

Moving Furniture
That counts, right? I spent the morning on a bike ride with the new lady in my life. After showering and leaving her city, I met up with a friend, his family and his friends for over 3 hours worth of moving furniture (heavy and light) out of this 2nd floor appartment and into his new 3rd floor apartment in the same development. It may not sound like it, but I sweated throuh three shirts and felt dirty all day. We didnt’ finish until about 7 pm where I dozed off had pasta and watched a movie until leaving in the rain around 10:30 pm.
A nice precursor to a 17 mile run the next day which included hills.
